Update

For those of you who read my blog and noticed the cute little ticker on the sideboard, or who know me on facebook and heard our news a couple of weeks ago, I need to update.

In a lot of ways, I'd really like to pretend it all never happened, to quietly move past it in our own time. I'd like to just delete the posts on my facebook page and remove the ticker from the blog and hope no one notices. But I know a lot of people read my blog, often that I'm not even aware of until someone comes up and says they've been enjoying reading my posts. So, rather than leave a lot of unanswered questions in the minds of my friends and be caught awkwardly trying to answer questions that are painful to answer, I'll write this little post to update and hope that's all I need to do.

We were getting ready for the arrival of a little bundle of cuddly baby in late winter, but had some complications, and are sad to say we are no longer expecting. We are keeping busy, recovering, and trying to readjust our thinking and planning. Most importantly, we are counting our blessings. We have a merciful God who loves us and has a plan for each of our lives, and we place our trust in Him.
