Doin' the Dishes

Sunday I started teaching Joshua how to properly do the dishes! He was excited at first, but the newness wore off quickly! He did a good job though, and Elayna was always at his side, eager to help! March 8, 2009.

Hairdo

I check out a blog now and then about little girls' hair styles, so I decided last Sabbath to try one out on Emmy. She has pretty thin hair, with a little wave to it, and she hacked chunks off here and there last fall, so it was a challenge! It could have turned out better, but it was fun and Emmy had her pretty time and enjoyed the pampering. The instructions included the ribbon, but orange was the only color ribbon I had laying around! Little Laney Bean

Trying on a summer dress in anticipation of Spring this month! It will eventually get warm, I have faith! Hopefully my little peanut will grow into this dress by then! March 1, 2009.

Friday Night Worship

Josh and Emmy were both feeling a bit under the weather, so there wasn't a whole lot of singing, no marching in the Lord's army, or walking and leaping with Peter and John. Elayna had a fun time on the guitar case, and Colby played despite cutting his finger while fixing the dryer. Feb. 27, 2008.

Sicky Emmy

Poor little girl had a cough and fever this week and spent most of her time on the couch without any energy at all. Here she was talking on Joshua's "phone". Feb. 25, 2009.
