Babies, Babies, Babies!!!

Next year, our family will be having a nice little bumper crop of BABIES!

Emmy's First Birthday!

  
Emmy is one year old! We went out to breakfast for her birthday, and came home to get ready for the party. At least this time she didn't sleep through all the fun! I didn't have someone to take the pictures for me this time, so there are a lot less of them, but rest assured she had a great time opening all her presents, and she LOVED all of her Dollies, hugging each one and rocking it back and forth! It was so cute!

I can't believe how fast my kids are growing!!

 
Her first reaction to her cake was to pick up the whole piece and examine it. But apparently she didn't really like what she saw or the frosting that got all over her hands! Eventually she did eat pieces I fed to her with a fork, but she never did get really into it. Nov.12, 2006.

First Birthday Dress

 
I found this cute first birthday dress has a cupcake and one candle in it. She still hasn't been brave enough to take her first steps, instead she just dives and expects someone to catch her! But sometimes she will stand next to something and just let go and stand there by herself, so it won't be long! Nov. 12, 2006.

This is what I spent my Saturday night doing! The white powder just above the bow was cornstarch that I was using to flatten out the nose and eyes and spilled a bit there. But other than that it turned out pretty good! Nov. 11, 2006.

Snow covered road

 
It snowed on Friday night, and we had about 4 inches at our house when we woke up. It slowly melted through the morning hours, but on our drive up north of us the snow was still sticking to the branches and weighing them down. This is the driveway to the house Colby has been working on. Nov. 11, 2006.

On Sabbath afternoon we went for a drive up to see the house Colby has been working on. Josh took the opportunity to figure out how to turn his frog pillow into a hat! Nov. 11, 2006.

Found this cute dress at the GW last week, and it is so adorable on Emmy! But she grew very frustrated by not being able to crawl in it! Nov.8, 2006. 

This picture reminded me of the incredible blessings God has promised and given in my life! Most prominent in my mind are the health and safety of my children and my husband. Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow! I found this beautiful picture on the internet, I don't know where it was taken, but I sure would have loved to see it myself! The last gift of the day was a big one! This play fort was sent out by Grandma and Grandpa A. Both kids were completely enthralled! All of the blankets and toys got piled in there and they had fun! Nov. 5, 2006. 

Time to open presents! This soft fuzzy frog pillow and blanket were from Grandpa and Grandma J. The frog is SO soft! As soon as he got the blanket out he laid down on the frog for a minute! I think that was the only break he took the entire afternoon! Nov. 5, 2006.
